Nado Gelato in Coronado

This is the best gelato hands down that I’ve ever had. I’ve had gelato many a gelato around the US an even once in Paris. It’s not too sweet. The flavor is spot on delish! It tasted fresh and natural. No food coloring in this creamy treat!The young man behind the counter was a professional in his customer service skills. Greeted me with a smile the moment I stepped in the shop, Complimented the top I was wearing and asked what he could get for me. We chatted a little about the cup portions and while he packaged up my order, how businesses had been lately with COVID-19. By the way the store looked very clean. Each of the flavors had lids. A clean scooper was used before each flavor so no cross contamination there. The transaction was no touch with the card slider being placed out on a stool in front of the counter. Well done Nad and Highly recommended by this foodie!!

Nado Gelato is amazing. Yes, the Gelato is great, but so is the coffee, and the service. This is a new cornerstone of Coronado, and you should visit!

Cute little gelato place near downtown Coronado! The staff was very helpful and recommend the Panna cotta + coffee combination which tastes like a latte~ yum! The pear flavor is also very refreshing and unlike anything I’ve ever tried before! Would recommend!

It is so incredibly good and at amazing prices!! It’s local and fresh and with good ingredients. It is DELICIOUS.

Gelato is rich and flavorful but not too sweet. The large is best option due to the pricing.

Fantastic creamy gelato and sorbetto! This is our traditional place to visit every time we go to Coronado island. Great, helpful staff. Good, fair prices. A fun spot for a treat!—>TIP: try samples first! —>TIP: the kiwi & coconut are delicious, and lemon sorbetto is a great dairy-free option!

Great coffee and of course gelato !! Unfortunately management is not aware of what is needed for their patrons 3 days in a row now, they can't make my cappuccino due to being out of one ingredient really !!

EDIT: 3/5/19 Nado Gelato reached out and refunded our payment. They made sure they would speak to their staff so issues like the one described below do not happen again. Glad they want to make things better for their customers. I will most definitely give them another chance, thank you Nado Gelato and Alex! OLD review 2/23/19: The gelato is good but my boyfriend found a frozen paper towel today on the creme brûlée. Gross! For $4.50 I could have bought a pint of Ben & Jerry’s sans paper towel. Thank you, next.

All the gelato that I tasted was phenomenal. Finally settled on coffee and creme brulee. Wifey had the tiramisu and it was fantastic. We will definitely be back. Some of the best gelato I've had.

Very good gelato.I recommend the orange chip which is like an orange sorbet with dark chocolate chips in it and the coffee with simply awesome. One of my favorite gelato spot on Coronado

AMAZING chocolate gelato

Reality tasty can't see the flavors any more they have a new refrigerator system that makes it taste better. This is my second trip in two days also got a green tea delicious. The special gelato was awesome. Also really nice little area outside to sit. Right off of the main area where everything is line moves really fast. Best in town

Superb little gelato place. They're doing careful social distancing, and so worth the effort.Don't fall in love with any particular flavor, they make fresh batches all the time and there's no guarantee that it will be there next time.

Made fresh with quality ingredients, interesting flavors like black vanilla, crispy sweet waffle cones. So delish.

This little gem takes my wife and I back to Italy. It’s probably one of the most authentic gelato places in San Diego. The menu changes daily and there is always something different to try. I personally like their Tiramisu Gelato and my wife loves the pineapple flavor. They also have many espresso drinks and it just a little bit of a walk to the historic Hotel Del.

The BEST gelato I have ever had!!!!! I have been to others and they just dont compare! Other locations are in Pike Place Seattle Washington and at UTC mall in San Diego.They have Vegan options!!! And they are still the BEST gelato!

This is some standout gelato. If you're in the area, this is a must. Sampled a couple and then decided on the Opera flavor. True to it's name, your mouth will be singing the cadenza from start to finish and you'll be begging for an encore.

The BEST gelato that's made fresh everyday with high quality ingredients you can savor😋. You can eat indoors or outdoors at a couple of tables. They are happy to let you taste different flavors until you find the ones that suit your palate since a lot of their flavors change daily. Check them out!

A cute little gelato shop with some truly excellent gelato. I got the vegan chocolate sorbet which was delightfully decadent and wondrously rich. Would wholeheartedly recommend a trip here for a little self indulgence.

We come 1,400 miles for this Gelato the best. Friendly staff. Offers samples before making your choice. A must Stop. Look for the green tables outside for seating.

If you're in San Diego, it's worth going across the bridge just for this gelato. They have several locations but this one is simply the best. The flavors change often but they are always creamy and delicious. Personally, coconut is my favorite. Best gelato on this side of Italy!

Good icecream. coffe was not good at all . ive ordered capuccino and late ( capuccino double shot) , it came with no coffe falvour at all ( only milk ) for both cups ( the capuccino and late) . The coffe need to be improved big time. Thanks

We have been to all three locations: Seattle, San Diego, and Coronado. For the past 5 years, Coronado is one we frequent the most. Great customer service. If I could give more stars, I would. Ms. Alex is amazing and has always made our visits there memorable by interacting in conversation with my little one.
